ECPR - European Consortium for Political Research

The European Consortium for Political Research is a prestigious European association founded in 1970. Currently, it has 350 institutional members from over 50 countries. ECPR members - students, postgraduates and academics - collaborate with the research community. ECPR supports and initiates international cooperation through various initiatives, including conferences, trainings, courses, methodological schools, prestigious publications, high-point journals or prizes awarded to outstanding researchers.
 
The Silesian University in 2016 joined the international ECPR community. Thanks to this, as a faculty we have gained a number of benefits, including:
Open access to high-impact journals: European Journal for Political Research (40 points), European Political Science Review (30 points) and European Political Science (online) (20 points);
The opportunity to actively participate in many events organized by the ECPR community - among others. General conferences, so-called. Joint sessions, methodological schools;
30% discount on books in collaboration with Oxford University Press;
The ability to actively work in specialized thematic Standing Groups;
Participation in ECPR-initiated panels at international conferences (APSA, IPSA, etc.).
